Please note you are required to have an ability to swim & tread water.

Dive Medical- you may be required to have a current medical certificate, dated within one year of commencement of course. Australians Standard 4005.1. Please check the information under Dive Medical on the website. This medical can be completed by some GP's but please be aware some do not have the correct equipment and may refer you to a specialist. There is a list of doctors who specialise in Dive Medicine on the "South Pacific Underwater Medicine Society" website www.spums.org.au.

Itinerary
Courses commencing the first and third Saturday of each month. Both courses share a Saturday start day and on the Part time course, you will complete your training over 2 consecutive weekends (Sat/Sun - Sat) The Full time course is completed over 3 consecutive days. (Sat - Mon)
Day one: Commence at 8am registration and intro.
Classroom lectures
11.30am break for gear set up and lunch
12.30pm - 5pm Pool Session
Day two: 8am start theory
Two shore dives
Theory 5pm finish
Day three: 8am start theory
Two shore dives
Theory 5pm finish
Day four: 8am start - (Deluxe Upgrade only)
Two dives (weather permitting) on boat or shore
( These can be counted towards Advanced certification.)
Complete paper work
4pm finish

Come back with in one month of your course and you will receive a free double boat dive valued at $110! Equipment hire not included. - 4 Day course only

Requirements
- Minimum requirement to join the PADI Openwater course is pass the Australian Standards Dive Medical.
- Minimum age to start your training with Pro Dive Nelson Bay is 14yrs
- It is preferred that you have read the PADI Openwater Manual and this can be posted to you prior to course commencement.

Cancellation Policy:
1. All monies are fully refundable up until 48 hours prior to departure.
2. No refund is payable if notified less than 48 hours prior to departure.
3. All refunds will be less the banks merchant fee's which will be advised at time of refund.
